Find an Instruction Manual for Your Machine

If you don’t have a manual, you need to get one and read it. It will help you thread your machine and wind your bobbin. It will show you where to oil your machine and how to use the accessories that came with the machine.

Get a free manual for your Singer machine at the Singer website by entering in its serial number (they refer to it as a model number) at this link:

You can also sometimes find manuals on eBay for your machine.

Take some time to look thru your manual, especially paying attention to the part that shows a diagram of your machine.
